July 15, 2020 Update from Economic Development Director Stacy Souza Elms

Dear Business Owners,

Based on Governor Newsom’s Amended Health Order of July 13, 2020, the following businesses/activities shall close their facilities and cease all operations unless they can be modified to operate outside or by pick-up https://covid19.ca.gov/roadmap-counties/. All sectors, businesses, and establishments not authorized to open or reopen may continue basic minimum operations such as activities to maintain value of the business’s inventory, ensure security, process payroll and employee benefits, or related functions. Violators of these Orders may be subject to fines and/or citations.

*All bar/pub operations

*Indoor dining at restaurants

*Wineries/tasting rooms

*Family entertainment centers (e.g. bowling,  movie theaters, theme parks, zoos, museums etc.)

*Other indoor entertainment centers including nightclubs, concert venues, festivals, cardrooms

*Use of playgrounds, picnic areas, indoor facilities at parks

*Youth sports/activities (outside of other sanctioned sectors such as day camps or fitness centers)

*Worship/religious services

*Protests

*Fitness centers including saunas/steam rooms, hot tubs

*Offices for Non-Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers

*Personal care services

*Shopping malls
